At Carr Stone & Tile, we install all types of wall and floor coverings from simple squares tiles to complex mosaics. Thinner tiles can be used on walls but more durable ones should be used on floors. We have a large selection of tiles to choose from including porcelain, ceramic, granite, marble, and travertine tiles.

Natural stone can be beautiful but as a natural product they are less uniform in color and pattern. In addition, it requires more planning for use, installation, and maintenance. Some stone tiles such as polished granite, marble, and travertine are very slippery when wet. Stone tiles with a riven (split) surface such as slate will be more slip-resistant. Ceramic and Porcelain tiles are produced in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors and are a very popular product for bathrooms.
