Cleaning Tips For Your Home
Some businesses will reopen within the next couple of days. This means you and your family will most likely start going out more than you have been in the last couple of weeks. This also means you may have to adopt a couple of new cleaning routines. Below find a few tips that may help you keep your home clean and healthy:
New Cleaning Routines
Some of these tips may not seem new to you, but some of these cleaning tips should become part of your regular cleaning routines. Your wallets, bags, purses as well as reusable shopping backs need to be cleaned regularly, preferably after every use, and thoroughly. Right now you may want to leave your real leather bags in your closet. Take a look at the labels in your bags, many of them can go into your laundry. If the bags cannot be washed in your washing machine use disinfectant wipes.
Make sure your computers, keyboards, mouses and cell phones get a good cleaning at least twice a week. Since we are all using our computer pretty much on a daily basis dirt, dust and food crumbs may collect in key boards. Make sure to get this stuff out. Use a small brush with soft bristles or compressed air to clean your computer equipment. Do not forget to wipe everything down with a disinfectant. To clean your cell phone check the manufacturer’s website for special instructions. Before cleaning your cell phone turn it off and take it out of its case, before wiping it down with a disinfectant. This should become part of your daily cleaning routine.
Consider taking your shoes off when entering into your home. Shoes do not only carry dirt, but also bacteria, viruses and germs. A shoe rack at the entrance will give your family the opportunity to store the dirty shoes and switch to house shoes before entering your living room or kitchen areas.
